CETRAD has just been informed by the FCT that its strategic research programme for 2015-20 has been awarded a classification of "VERY GOOD".
Today (22nd of December 2014)CETRAD was informed by the FCT that its strategic research programme for 2015-2020 had been awarded a classification of VERY GOOD. In addition to identifying the Centre's key strengths (including the impact of its research on rural, regional and local development processes, and its potential as a provider of advanced training in these areas), the final Consensus Report of the International Evaluation Panel gave both a detailed justification of its decision, and indications of the further improvements in results expected over the coming years.
After a truly herculean effort of more than a year's duration, undertaken in an external environment that was far from favourable, congratulations are clearly in order. The result is a well-deserved Christmas present for all CETRAD's researchers, its External Advisory Committee, its administrative team, and all the collaborators and stakeholders of its national andd international projects.
