"The Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE), established by Stephen R. Stoer and colleagues in 1988 at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, is a research centre funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
Regular research activities are organised into four research groups: (RG1) Politics, Policies and Participation; (RG2) Education, Knowledge and Contexts of Work and Education; (RG3) Citizenship, Diversity and Historical Knowledge; and (RG4) Innovation, Creativity and Local Development in Education."
